I believe art obliges us. To express ourselves - and by extension express our views of the world - makes us accountable to that statement. If artists continually push art's evolution, and if the highest forms of expression capture the souls of humanity and move people toward a new view of life, then we are accountable to the effect. If the effect rests on our shoulders, then don't you think art itself is urging us to make the best use we can of what it can be?

Alfredo Jarr called this "Social Intervention" . . . and I want to do powerful things with the influence of conceptual works to to touch a culture.
